Registration, race items, and benefits
The entry fee is $25. Registered participants receive a soft cotton race shirt, a $5 gift certificate to Packo's, a Tony Packo's hotdog, and additional food and drinks after the race. Packet pickup is scheduled at Packo's Restaurant on Secor Road on March 7, 2026, and the same evening includes a race party where 50% of sales that night will be given to Washington Local Schools cross country. Parking is suggested at the stadium on Whitmer Drive, the CTC parking lot, or in front of Whitmer on Clegg. The race supports Washington Local cross country, which is described as about 300 runners from grades 1 through 12, and will help establish two $500 scholarships for one male and one female senior cross country runner from Whitmer High School. No refunds are accepted once race fees are paid. The male and female winners of the 5k will sign a Tony Packo's bun to be displayed at the Secor Road store for one year.
