Event overview
Packo's Panther is a 5K run/walk held on March 8, 2026 in Toledo, Ohio. The event takes place at 5700 Whitmer Drive and uses local Washington Local Schools streets. The course begins on Whitmer Drive in front of Washington Jr. High and finishes on the 50-yard line of Whitmer Memorial Stadium. Registration fee is $25 and registration closes March 1, 2026.

With paid registration, participants receive a soft cotton race shirt, a $5 Packo's gift certificate, a Tony Packo's hotdog, and additional post-race food and drinks. The race supports Washington Local Cross Country (about 300 runners in grades 1-12) and will help fund two $500 scholarships for one male and one female senior cross country runner from Whitmer High School. The winning male and female will sign a Tony Packo's bun to be displayed for one year at the Secor Road store.
Packet pickup is scheduled at Packo's Restaurant on Secor Road on Saturday, March 7, 2026, where a race party will be held and 50% of sales that night will be donated to WLS cross country. No refunds are accepted once race fees are paid. Suggested parking areas include the Whitmer stadium lot, the CTC parking lot, or Clegg Street in front of Whitmer.
