Packo's Panther 5K Run/Walk
The Packo's Panther 5k takes place on March 8, 2026 in Toledo, Ohio, with the listed location at 5700 Whitmer Drive. The course starts in front of Washington Jr. High on Whitmer Drive, runs through Washington Local Schools neighborhoods, and finishes on the 50 yard line of Whitmer Memorial Stadium.
Registration has a $25 fee and includes a soft cotton race shirt, a $5 Packo's gift certificate, a Tony Packo's hotdog, and additional food and drinks provided after the race. Packet pickup is scheduled at Packo's Restaurant on Secor Road on Saturday, March 7, 2026 from 4:00 to 6:30 pm; a race party is planned for that pickup evening and 50 percent of sales that night will be given back to Washington Local Schools cross country.
The event benefits Washington Local Cross Country, which is described as about 300 runners from grades 1 through 12, and will help establish two $500 scholarships for one male and one female senior cross country runner from Whitmer High School. The winning male and female 5k competitors will sign a Tony Packo's bun that will be displayed for one year at the Secor Road store.
Attendees are asked to use parking at the stadium on Whitmer Drive, the CTC parking lot, or the area in front of Whitmer on Clegg. No refunds are accepted once race fees are paid. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
