Pacifico Ultra - May 29, 2027
Pacifico Ultra is a mountain trail event in the Angeles National Forest near Palmdale, California. The event offers supported trail racing on Pacifico Mountain and routes that use Pacifico Mountain Road and the Silver Moccasin Trail through pine forests and high desert landscapes.
- 50k Ultra - 31.8 miles, 5,317 feet elevation gain
- Half-Marathon (21k) - 13.1 miles, 2,293 feet elevation gain
Routes combine technical singletrack, mountainside truck trails and paved sections, with much of the course between about 5,600 and 7,100 feet in elevation after an initial start near 5,000 feet. Course photos and official Footpath route maps are provided for navigation. Race day temperatures may range widely, from the mid 50s to mid 80s Fahrenheit.
The 50k course includes nine aid stations and the half-marathon includes three aid stations positioned at named saddles and summit points. The event provides free course photography, finisher medals made locally, a finish festival with food options and sports massage, and same day results. The 50k also offers a course record bonus and winners receive additional race invitations and prizes. The 50k serves as a Sterling Silver Ticket race for the Angeles Crest 100, with four recipients earning Sterling Silver Tickets and guaranteed entry subject to recipient responsibilities.
Race operations use off-site parking with shuttle service to the race site. All SoCalTrail races are cupless. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
