Pacifico Ultra : May 30, 2026, Angeles National Forest, Palmdale, CA
The event offers two trail distances:
- 50k Ultra (about 31.4 miles)
- Trail Half Marathon (about 13 miles)
The 50k route is listed with 5,597 feet of elevation gain and a 10-hour time limit. The half-marathon is listed with 2,510 feet of gain. Both courses follow trails around Pacifico Mountain, including Pacifico Mountain Road and the Silver Moccasin Trail through pine forests, Mount Gleason ridge, and Mount Hillyer terrain.
Course support, awards and logistics
Aid stations and cut-offs are posted at multiple mile markers on the 50k, and a drop-bag location is listed at Three Points. The event is cupless. Finish amenities include free course photography, a finish festival with tacos (vegan option), hot and iced coffee, sports massage, finish-line announcements and music, same-day results, and professional medical support. Overall and age-group awards are offered for U20, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+ categories. The 50k includes a $500 winner-take-all cash prize for the first man and first woman, and top finishers may earn Sterling Silver Tickets that grant entry into a specified 100-mile race provided they meet additional requirements. Off-site race-day parking and scheduled shuttle service are provided. Volunteers earn race credits and receive event swag, meals, coffee, and massage.
