Pacifico Ultra

Pacifico Ultra is a trail running event in the Angeles National Forest near Palmdale, CA. The course tours Pacifico Mountain using Pacifico Mountain Road and the Silver Moccasin Trail and crosses a mix of technical singletrack, mountainside truck trails and paved roads. The event takes place in the San Gabriel Mountains and features landscapes such as silent pine forests above the high desert, Mount Gleason’s treelined ridge, Mount Hillyer’s sandy boulders, and panoramic views toward the Angeles National Forest and the Mojave Desert.

Distances offered:

  • 50k Ultra: 31.8 miles, 5,317 feet elevation gain, 10 hour time limit
  • Half marathon: 13.1 miles, 2,293 feet elevation gain

The 50k course includes nine aid station stops; the half marathon includes three aid stops. The event provides free course photography and a finish area with food options including tacos, sports massage, shaded seating, hot and iced coffee, and professional medical support. Every finisher receives a locally made finisher medal. The 50k is a Sterling Silver Ticket race for the Angeles Crest 100; the top two men and top two women will earn Sterling Silver Tickets and guaranteed entry, with the requirement to pay their race entry fee and complete eight hours of trail work.
