The Pacifico Ultra is a trail race in the Angeles National Forest near Palmdale, CA. The event offers a fully supported wilderness experience on Pacifico Mountain Road and the Silver Moccasin Trail. Terrain includes technical singletrack, mountainside truck trails and paved road sections. The race site is at Mill Creek Summit and the Pony Park Day Use Area, with off-site parking and shuttle service from Pearblossom Park & Ride. The event is cupless.
Courses and logistics
- 50k (31.8 miles) with 5,621' vertical gain, 10-hour time limit. Aid stations and drop-bag locations are provided along the course.
- Half-Marathon (13. miles) with 2,510' gain and three aid stops.
Runners will begin at high elevation, around 5,000', with most miles between about 5,600' and 7,100'. Race-day temperatures are noted as possibly ranging from the mid-50s to mid-80s. The 50k carries a $500 course record bonus and serves as a Sterling Silver Ticket race for the 2026 Angeles Crest 100; top finishers in specified places earn Sterling Silver Tickets subject to entry fee and trail work requirements.
