Pacifico Ultra - May 29, 2027
Pacifico Ultra is a trail running event in the Angeles National Forest near Palmdale, California, organized by SoCalTrail. The race uses Mill Creek Summit and the Pony Park Day Use Area as the site and follows routes on Pacifico Mountain Road and the Silver Moccasin Trail.
Distances offered:
- 50k / 31.8 miles with 5,317 ft vertical and a 10-hour time limit
- Half-Marathon / 13.1 miles with 2,293 ft gain and three aid stops
Both courses mix technical singletrack, mountainside truck trails and paved sections, with miles at elevations around 5,600 to 7,100 ft. The 50k includes nine aid stations and multiple cutoffs along the route. Footpath is listed as the official mapping and navigation tool for the event.
Event services and finish area amenities include free course photography, a fully stocked finish festival with tacos and a vegan option, sports massage, shaded seating, run club aid stations and professional medical support. Finishers receive locally made, hand crafted medals and overall and age group podium awards are given for both distances. The 50k offers a course record bonus for women and men and serves as a Sterling Silver Ticket Race for the Angeles Crest 100. All SoCalTrail races are cupless.
Off site race day parking is used, with shuttle vans operating to and from the race site throughout the day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
