Event overview

The Nutty Cutters 5k takes place on Saturday, March 7, 2026, in Palmdale, CA (zip 93551). The race is the second annual edition and uses a 5k course at Marie Kerr Park. The course is two laps around the park with planned random route variations: on each lap there are two locations where a runner may be sent onto a shortcut and two locations where a runner may be sent onto a longer route. Participants can choose a "NO CUTTING" option to run exactly 5k without being routed onto shortcuts or long cuts. All finish-line prizes are awarded by random selection rather than by finish order.

Entry fees listed are: $43.40 for the standard 5K (includes $3.40 fee), $38.10 for HDR club members (includes $3.10 fee), and $22.20 for youth (includes $2.20 fee). Fees increase after January 31, 2026 at 11:00pm PST. All participants receive a free shirt while supplies last; sizes are chosen at registration.
