P12 - The Longest Attended Day
P12 is an endurance event held on Saturday 19 June 2027 at Denbies Wine Estate in Dorking, Surrey. The format requires participants to run 1 mile on the hour, every hour, for 12 consecutive hours on an off road trail through the wine estate. The course will be set up as flat-ish as possible.
The event uses full chip timing and awards a 12 mm thick P12 finisher's medal to those who complete all 12 hours. Organisers will be on site for 24 hours across 19 and 20 June, and participants may choose a start time during that period that allows 12 consecutive hours of running.
On-site camping for tents is included; mobile homes and campers are not permitted. The event provides 24 hour access to toilet facilities and daytime access to an onsite cafe with hot food and an outdoor serving hatch offering teas, coffees, bacon rolls, sausage rolls and vegetarian and vegan options. Seating on site is available for rest between miles.
A virtual version will run simultaneously so there are both attended and virtual participants. Places for the attended event are limited. Entry fees are listed as £47.95 for affiliated runners and £49.95 for unattached runners. UK Athletics distance restrictions apply to participants aged 20 or under and full terms and conditions apply. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
