Ozark Valley Triathlon weekend at Lake Wedington Recreation Area
The event takes place June 13-14, 2026 at Lake Wedington Recreation Area near Fayetteville, Arkansas. The weekend combines off road gravel and mountain events on June 13 with road triathlon, duathlon, aquabike and team events on June 14. The road races include the 2026 Arkansas State Championships at the international and sprint distances and the Arkansas High School State Championship.
Saturday off road events and distances:
- Gravel Triathlon: 400-yard swim, 12-mile bike, 3-mile run
- Gravel Duathlon: 2-mile run, 12-mile bike, 3-mile run
- Mountain Bike Triathlon: 400-yard swim, 8-mile bike, 3-mile run
- Mountain Bike Duathlon: 2-mile run, 8-mile bike, 3-mile run
Sunday road events and distances:
- Sprint Triathlon: 400-yard swim, 13-mile bike, 2-mile run
- International Triathlon: 1,000-yard swim, 19-mile bike, 4-mile run
- Aquabike: 1,000-yard swim, 19-mile bike
- Sprint Duathlon: 2-mile run, 13-mile bike, 2-mile run
There is a combined Club Championship competition and an international distance team category with two or three members allowed.
