Event overview
The Ozark Valley Triathlon is a two-day event on June 13 and 14, 2026, held at Lake Wedington Recreation Area, 15689 Lake Weddington Entry Rd, Fayetteville, AR 72704. Saturday features off-road events: OVT Gravel Triathlon, OVT Gravel Duathlon, OVT Mtn Bike Triathlon, and OVT Mtn Bike Duathlon. Saturday off-road triathlons include a 400-yard swim; the gravel bike course is 12 miles and the mountain bike course is 8 miles. Sunday hosts the road Ozark Valley Triathlon, which includes the 2026 Arkansas State Championships for the international and sprint distances, the Arkansas High School State Championship, and a combined Club Championship. The international distance is offered for individual and team competition.

- Sprint - 400 yd swim, 13 mi bike, 2 mi run
- Duathlon (road) - 2 mi run, 13 mi bike, 2 mi run
- Aquabike - 1,000 yd swim, 19 mi bike
- OVT Gravel Tri - 400 yd swim, 12 mi gravel bike, 3 mi run
- OVT Mtn Bike Tri - 400 yd swim, 8 mi mtn bike, 3 mi run
- Off-road Duathlon runs - 2 mi run, then 3 mi run
Location, entries and extras
All events take place at Lake Wedington, located about 13 miles west of Fayetteville. Entry fees include a ringspun cotton T-shirt by default; entrants may choose no shirt to save $5 or upgrade to a technical shirt for $15. If an ordered shirt size is unavailable, a refund for the item is issued at packet pickup. The event lists finisher medals, post-race food, awards, and prizes.
