Oyster Catcher Trail Run 2026
The Oyster Catcher Trail Run is a multi-day trail running event held in Boggoms Bay, Western Cape. The event takes place from 25 to 27 September 2026, with registration on 24 September 2026. The venue is Boggoms Bay Golf Club, 1 Whale Street, Boggoms Bay.
Two entry formats are offered: a 2-Day option and a 3-Day option. The 2-Day option covers 36 km over two days with stages that include a 15 km section from Gouritz to Boggomsbaai and a 16 km section from Dana Bay to The Point. The 3-Day option covers 61 km over three days and includes an initial 16 km stage at Gourikwa Nature Reserve followed by the same 15 km and 16 km stages.

Entry prices are listed as R3,500 for the 2-Day option and R4,500 for the 3-Day option. Accommodation in the race village is available as luxury tents (3x3 m) for R2,800 for the event duration; each tent sleeps two and includes a mattress, sheets, comforter, pillow, LED camp light, bedside table, two chairs, and two stretchers. All lunches are included in the entry. Dinner packages and additional lunches are available for separate fees. Typical age range 12+.
