About the race

The Oyster Catcher Trail Run is a multi‑day trail running event held in Boggomsbaai, Western Cape, South Africa, from 24 to 26 September 2027 with registration on 23 September 2027. The event offers two entry formats: a two day option covering a total of 36 km and a three day option covering a total of 61 km, split into daily stages between coastal locations.

Distances per stage are:

16 km (Gourikwa Nature Reserve)
15 km (Gouritz to Boggomsbaai)
16 km (Dana Bay to The Point)

The two day option takes place on 25 and 26 September and includes a 15 km stage from Gouritz to Boggomsbaai and a 16 km stage from Dana Bay to The Point. The three day option runs from 24 to 26 September and includes the additional 16 km stage at Gourikwa Nature Reserve on day one. Entry fees are listed as R3,800.00 for the two day option and R4,800.00 for the three day option.
