Ox Cart Days 5K Trail Run and 1 Mile Nature Walk
The event takes place at Riverwood Nature Center in Star Prairie, Wisconsin, at 300 First Street. It offers two main options for participants:
- 5K trail run
- 1 Mile nature walk with a kids scavenger hunt and prizes
The 5K course includes a portion on unpaved trails. The 5K entry fee is $30. The nature walk is free with donations accepted at the event. Pre-registration by August 1 guarantees a t-shirt for 5K participants. Registration opens on 6/14/2026 and closes on 8/21/2026.
The St. Croix County K9 unit will be present for a meet and greet and will provide a demonstration following the race. All proceeds support the St. Croix County K9 unit and the Riverwood Nature Center. The program format and on-site activities include family oriented elements such as the scavenger hunt for walk participants and prize distribution for that group.
