5k Beer Run x Outskirts Brewing
The 5k Beer Run at Outskirts Brewing is an in-person fun run organized by the Washington Brewery Running Series. The event uses a mapped 5k-ish course that travels around the brewery in Selah, in the Yakima Valley. The course is untimed and non-competitive; participants may run, jog, or walk. The event takes place on public roads and participants are responsible for obeying traffic laws and being aware of surroundings.
Registration includes one craft beverage from Outskirts Brewing and a collector's pint glass or other Brewery Running Series swag. The day features entertainment, games, giveaways, and raffle prizes arranged with event partners and sponsors. The event is described as family friendly and pet friendly.
Ten percent of proceeds from this run will benefit Yakima Greenway, whose mission is to preserve and enhance the Yakima River, its tributaries, and the surrounding landscape for recreation, conservation, and education. The event operates rain or shine and offers free parking. Registration is limited to the size of the taproom. Identification is required to receive alcoholic beverages; underage participants will receive a token for a non-alcoholic beverage.
