The course uses crushed asphalt and pavement and passes through woodlands, wetlands and natural habitats. Race-day elements include commemorative finisher medals, age-group and overall awards for multiple masters categories, team challenges, and participant giveaways such as commemorative shirts and gift cards when registration meets specified deadlines.
