Outrun Hunger is an annual charity running event in Commerce Township, Michigan, held at Commerce Township Hall (2009 Township Drive, Commerce Township, MI 48390). The event includes both a 5K and a 1 Mile run/walk and directs proceeds to local food pantries during the holiday season.

Outrun Hunger is a 501(c)(3) organization. Historically the event has raised more than $308,163 and helped feed 11,922 families in the local community. The event donates 100% of registrations and contributions (excluding online transaction fees) to Hospitality House Food Pantry of Commerce and Open Door Outreach Center of Waterford. In 2025 the event raised $36,128 and provided holiday meals for 722 families.

The course winds through woodlands, wetlands and natural habitats, with sections of crushed asphalt and pavement. The trail is narrow in places and features mile markers, directional signage, orange flag markers and volunteer support. Water is available near mile 2. Results are professionally chip timed by the Michigan Running Foundation. Awards include finisher medals, age group and overall distinctions, team challenges and post race giveaways and raffles.
