OUTLAST LITTLE ROCK takes place on April 18, 2026 in North Little Rock, AR. The event is held at Burns Park Equestrian Trail (4700 Joe K. Poch Dr, North Little Rock, AR 72118). It is organized as a timed, multi-lap trail challenge where participants run repeated loops over several hours.
Format and awards
OUTLAST is a six-hour trail endurance challenge. Runners complete a 5K loop each hour; a participant must finish each loop within the hour to continue. Runners who finish four laps receive a bronze leather patch, five laps earn a silver patch, and completing all six laps earns a wooden OUTLAST medal. All participants receive an OUTLAST T-shirt and sticker. Top male and female finishers at the local event are ranked by combined 5K times and placed on a national leaderboard. The fastest runner across all OUTLAST events is named National Champion with a $1,000 prize. City champions earn spots in an Outlast Championship event, where additional prize money is awarded.
Course and logistics
Courses are trail-based with natural terrain, elevation changes, and possible sections of pavement or gravel. Aid at the basecamp/loop start includes water, basic hydration, and snacks. The event is cupless, so participants should bring their own bottle or hydration system. The organizer recommends trail shoes, layers, and fuel between laps.
