OUTLAST DALLAS FORT WORTH
OUTLAST is a six hour trail endurance event in which runners complete a 5K every hour. Each lap must be finished within the hour to remain in the event. Runners who finish early may rest until the next round; those who miss a lap are removed from further competition. Completing all six rounds is recorded as an OUTLAST finish.
The course uses trail terrain with natural surfaces, elevation changes, and unpredictable conditions. Some sections may include pavement or gravel. Time between laps is available for recovery, fueling, and equipment adjustments, but total recovery time is limited by the hourly start structure.
Progress awards and apparel are part of the event. Completing four laps earns a “Grit Earned” patch, five laps earns a “Survivor” patch, and six laps earns a premium OUTLAST medal. All participants receive a premium OUTLAST tee. Finishers who complete all six laps receive a combined time for ranking on the national leaderboard.
Prizes and rankings are provided at local and national levels. The fastest male and female at this event receive first place awards and cash prizes. The top times across all OUTLAST events are tracked nationally, and the overall national leader receives a national cash prize. Aid stations provide water and basic snacks at the basecamp and loop start; participants must carry their own bottle or hydration system.
