Outdoor Adventure Expo 5k/10K & Kids Adventure Dash
The Outdoor Adventure Expo 5k/10K and Kids Adventure Dash is held at Winton Woods Park in Cincinnati, Ohio, on June 13. The event uses a paved course that circles Winton Lake and passes through natural areas at Winton Woods. The course includes some short hills.
Distances offered include:
- 5K
- 10K
- Kids Adventure Dash, a 1/10 mile run for children ages 8 and under
Each participant receives Great Parks themed swag plus a race medal and a t-shirt. Age group awards are presented in ten-year bands (1-14, 15-19, 20-29, continuing to 70+). Overall awards and over $2,000 in Tri-State Running Company gift cards are distributed to the top finishers for men and women, and to top finishers in each age group.
Event additions on site include live music, outdoor activities, contests, food trucks, exhibitors, and vendors. Pre-race packet pickup takes place June 8 through June 11 at the Winton Centre, 10245 Winton Road. Entries received by May 1 are entered in a random drawing for one of five $25 Tri-State Running Company gift cards; winners are notified by email before the event.
