Outback in the Ozarks 205 Mile Relay
Outback in the Ozarks is an overnight team endurance relay held 10/09/2026 to 10/10/2026 in Northwest Arkansas. The course covers 205 miles divided into 36 legs, beginning in Eureka Springs, passing through the Ozark National Forest and five state parks, and finishing at Prairie Grove Battlefield State Park.
Distances available:
- 205 miles across 36 legs
- 65 miles for teams of 4 to 6 runners
Team formats include:
- OTO Ultra Team for 4 to 6 runners, classified male, female, or mixed.
- OTO Standard Team for 7 to 12 runners, classified male, female, or mixed with division placement.
- OTO Half Team for 6 runners; teams can be paired with another six-person group.
- OTO Individual Connect for single runners to be matched into full teams.
- 65 Mile Relay for 4 to 6 runners that follows a later start and avoids overnight sections.
Registration opens 02/01/2026 and closes 07/06/2026. Entry fees vary by division and team size, with published fees for each option.
The team captain registers first and creates the team record. Team members may join by selecting an existing team during registration or by being added through the captain's RunSignup group management tools. Team names should remain family friendly.
