Out With the Old - In With the New
Out With the Old - In With the New is a two day event in Rochester, Michigan centered on a 5K fun run and walk. The event takes place at the Rochester Avon Recreation Authority building, 500 E 2nd St, with parking available in the RARA lot and the adjacent Clinton River Trail lot. Dogs are not allowed inside the building.
The course combines rail trail and dirt trails through the back of Bloomer Park and is described as mostly flat. Each day uses the same 5K course but the direction is switched between days. Participant capacity is limited to 270 each day.
Finisher recognition differs by day: each day has a unique finisher medal, and the two medals for participating both days fit together. Both day participants are to bring their bib each day. Registration fees vary by date with early pricing and later price increases; a separate both day fee is offered.
