Our Lives Matter
Our Lives Matter is a community run and walk event taking place on Saturday, May 2, 2026. The event offers two main activities: a 5K Race and a 1 Mile Fun Walk. Both start and finish at the Euclid Creek Reservation in Cleveland, Ohio.
Distances
- 5K Race (3.1 miles): This is a chip-timed running event.
- 1 Mile Fun Walk: This is a non-competitive, non-timed walking event.
Registration and packet pickup opens at 8:00 a.m. The 5K Race starts at 9:00 a.m., followed by the 1 Mile Fun Walk at 9:15 a.m. An awards ceremony is scheduled to begin approximately one hour after the start of the race.
The entry fee for the 5K Race is $25 for pre-registration and increases to $30 on race day. The 1 Mile Fun Walk costs $10. Participants who choose to register by mail should send their forms and checks, payable to Hermes Sports and Events, to arrive by Wednesday, April 29, 2026.
Awards are given to the top overall male and female finishers in the 5K Race. Age group awards are also presented to the top three finishers in numerous categories, ranging from 9 & under to 80 & over. All registered participants receive a T-shirt.
