Our Hospital Walk/Run
The 20th Annual Our Hospital Walk/Run takes place on Sunday, September 27. The event raises funds to help North Bay Regional Health Centre address the community's top medical equipment priorities and support local healthcare.
Participants may choose from several distances:
- Family Mile - a lap around the hospital
- 5 km
- 10 km
Registration is handled through the event's online registration site and includes a discounted fee for registrations before July 2. Published fees are: until July 1, 2026 adults $20, teens 13–17 $15, youth under 12 free; July 2 to September 26, 2026 adults $40, teens $20, youth free; race day adults $50, teens $30, youth free.
Awards and prizes include finishing medals for participants, placement medals for first through third places in men, women and non-binary categories, an Early Bird prize pack, hospital and community team fundraising challenges with pizza parties, and a spirit award. Fundraising incentives include an Air Canada Foundation draw entry for every $25 in donations and a $25 gift card for each $150 raised; gift cards are distributed after the fundraising period ends.
