About the race
Our Hospital Walk/Run is an annual community event held in North Bay to support the North Bay Regional Health Centre. The event focuses on raising funds for the hospital's highest priority medical equipment. Participants can choose between different routes that navigate the hospital grounds and surrounding area.
The event offers three distinct distances:
- Family Mile (one lap around the hospital)
- 5 KM
- 10 KM
The gathering includes organized warm-ups and opening ceremonies. After the physical activities, a chili lunch is provided for participants. Awards ceremonies are held upon the completion of all races. Please note that while the event is family-oriented, dogs are not permitted to attend.
Every participant who completes their chosen distance receives a finishing medal. Additionally, placement medals are awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers in male, female, and non-binary categories for each race. Registration is free for youth aged 12 and under.
