Look Out Trail Race - East Duchesnay Falls, North Bay, ON
The event takes place on June 13, 2026, on the Duchesnay Falls and campus trails in North Bay. Distances offered:
- 7 km
- 14 km
- Half Marathon (trail kilometers)
- Kid's Race : 2 km
The main course is a 7 km loop run one, two, or three times. Each loop includes about 240 m of elevation and features rocky singletrack, rolling doubletrack, several marked climbs, and a panoramic view of North Bay. A fully stocked aid station is located at 3.5 km on each loop and at the start/finish. A bag drop is available.
Every finisher receives a medal. To keep costs and footprint low there is no additional swag; a limited number of Look Out Trail Race hats and mugs will be available for purchase during registration.
This is a cup-free, waste-free event. Participants should bring a collapsible cup or water bottle for refilling and retain nutrition packaging until an aid station; waste will be sorted and recycled.
The start/finish is at the pond behind Canadore College / Nipissing University, 100 College Drive. Free parking is available in lots P8 and P7. Bib pick-up is available the day before and on race morning at the start/finish.
Registrations are non-refundable. Transfers and deferrals are available until June 11 at 11:59 PM; transfers incur a $1.95 fee. The event may be delayed or cancelled in extreme weather. Cancellation insurance is recommended. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
