Ottawa Hills Back to School 5K and Kids Run
This community running event takes place in the Village of Ottawa Hills and uses Niedermeier Stadium as a focal point. The program includes a five kilometer race through the village and a one mile kids run held entirely inside Niedermeier Stadium. The 5K route concludes under the stadium lights.

Packet pick-up is available on Saturday, August 15 in the Ottawa Hills High School parking lot from 9:00 to 11:00 am, and again on the afternoon/evening of the event from 5:00 pm until race start. There is no guarantee of an event shirt for registrations received after August 8, 2026.
Registration categories and fees listed by the organizer include a general 5K fee of $35.00, a student and staff 5K fee of $25.00, and a kids run fee of $20.00. The five kilometer race benefits Ottawa Hills 2027 After Prom, an evening organized to provide a drug and alcohol free environment with food and prizes.
