Otto's Ottawa Canada Day Road Races
The event takes place on July 1, 2026 at Earl Of March Secondary School in Kanata. The morning program includes multiple race distances and family activities on site such as face painting and inflatables for children.
Distances offered:
- 10 km
- 5 km
- 1 km (Kids 1K)
- 100 m Tot Trot
Registration includes, unless the Green Bib is chosen, a finisher medal for the 10 km, 5 km and Kids 1K, a personalized race bib, professional chip timing with results, post-race snacks and beverages, and free downloadable race photos.
Optional commemorative items are available: a technical event shirt, a kids cotton race shirt, and an iTab ribbon hanger. The Green Bib option does not include a medal and directs a portion of the registration fee to the event charity partner, The Royal.
The Royal is a research hospital that combines clinicians, scientists and technology to advance understanding of the brain and accelerate new treatments in areas such as mood disorders, stress and trauma, suicide prevention, military mental health and workplace mental health.
Cash prizes are offered for first, second and third place in the 5K and 10K for women, men and non-binary athletes. Race bib pickup is scheduled the day before at a local sponsor location and on site at the school on race day. A course map is provided.
