Otto's Ottawa Canada Day Road Races
The event takes place on July 1st to celebrate Canada Day. It is held at Earl of March High School. The race distances offered are 10K, 5K, a 1K for kids, and a 100m Tot Trot.
On-site activities include face painting and inflatables for kids. The event's charity partner is The Royal, a mental health research hospital.
Registration includes a personalized race bib, professional chip timing, a finisher medal for the 10K, 5K, and Kids 1K races (unless opting for the Green Bib), and post-race snacks and beverages. Free downloadable race photos are provided.
Optional add-ons for purchase include an event technical shirt, a kids cotton race shirt, and an iTab medal hanger.
Cash prizes are awarded to the top three finishers in the women's, men's, and non-binary categories for the 5K and 10K races. Run Ottawa members can run this race for free. The Green Bib option allows a donation to the charity partner instead of receiving a medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
