Orion Harriers - Epic Epping Forest Ultra

Epic Epping Forest Ultra, organized by Orion Harriers, was planned as a 50-mile trail ultra in Epping Forest near Chingford, London. The course comprised ten 5-mile loops, totaling just over 50 miles with around 1,120 meters of ascent. Formats included a solo Ultra and Enduro teams (2 or 4 runners).

Start/Finish and aid stations were at Jubilee Retreat, Bury Road, with sawdust markers, full marshals, and one road crossing per lap. The event offered medics, on-demand massages, drop bags, and a cup-less policy with a refillable cup. Note: 2025 Ultra was cancelled; organizers hope to return in 2026.
