Orange County Multi-Sport Festival
The Orange County Multi-Sport Festival takes place at Lake Mission Viejo on April 25, 2027. The event includes multiple race formats for individuals and relay teams and offers packet pickup and optional bike setup the day before the race at the lake.
Races and distances:
- Olympic Triathlon: 1500 m swim, 40K bike, 10K run
- Olympic Duathlon: 2K run, 40K bike, 10K run
- Sprint Triathlon: 750 m swim, 20K bike, 5K run
- Aquabike and Relay options, plus a 5K, Mini Sprint, and Kids Triathlon
Course and venue details: the swim takes place in Lake Mission Viejo with lifeguard support and wave starts. The Olympic bike course travels up and down Santiago Canyon with an approximate total elevation gain of 1738 feet; the sprint bike course remains near Mission Viejo. The run courses use trails and surface streets near the lake, with aid stations located at roughly mile 1.5, mile 3 and mile 4.5 on the longer run. The swim water temperature is expected to be about 65°F / 18°C. The swim exit is about 300 feet from the first transition area.
Registration packages are offered in Basic and VIP tiers. Basic features include chip timing, a finisher medal, pre-assigned bike space, souvenir merchandise, and post-race food.
