About the race
The Orange County Multi-Sport Festival is a multisport event held at Lake Mission Viejo in Mission Viejo, California on April 25, 2027. The festival includes individual and relay competitions across triathlon, duathlon, aquabike, a 5K, a mini sprint and a kids triathlon. The event is open to participants of all ages and accepts individual athletes and relay teams. It is a USAT sanctioned event.

- Olympic Triathlon: 1500m swim, 40K bike, 10K run
- Olympic Duathlon: 2K run, 40K bike, 10K run
- Sprint Triathlon: 750m swim, 20K bike, 5K run
- Olympic Aquabike: 1500m swim, 40K bike
- Mini Sprint Triathlon: 300m swim, 5K bike, 2.5K run
- Kids Triathlon: 40m swim, 0.5K bike, 0.5K run
- 5K run/walk and various relay and aquabike options
Logistics and facilities noted for participants include packet pickup available the day before and on race morning, preassigned bike racking at transitions, and security overnight for Saturday bike setup. The Olympic swim takes place in Lake Mission Viejo with lifeguard support and an expected water temperature near 65°F (18°C); the swim exit is about 300 feet from Transition 1. The Olympic bike course records approximately 1,738 feet of elevation gain and has one aid station on Santiago Canyon. Run course aid stations and restrooms are provided at roughly mile 1.5, mile 3 and mile 4.5. Results are reported by gender and detailed age categories, with additional divisions for relay, aquabike, Athena and Clydesdale where applicable.
