About the race
Opti-Fest is an evening running event held on 21 November 2026 in Mont-Saint-Grégoire. The event takes place in low light, and participants are invited to wear costumes and lights to add a festive atmosphere.
The event offers timed runs and walks over the following distances:
- 1 km
- 3 km
- 5 km
Each participant receives a promotional item. Prizes and medals are awarded to top finishers: medals for the top 10 in the 1 km, and top finishers in the 3 km and 5 km separated by youth (17 and under) and adult categories. Results are timed.
On-site activities include outdoor animation, an indoor film screening, a campfire, a canteen selling meals and snacks, inflatable games, and photo services. Facilities listed for the event are kilometre markers, changing rooms, toilets, parking, and on-site registration.
Proceeds from the event will be given to the Opti-Jeunesse club of Mont-Saint-Grégoire and to the Fondation Christian Vachon, which supports school perseverance for children from vulnerable backgrounds. Registration fees vary by distance and age, with participant costs ranging from CAD 20 to CAD 40 depending on category and registration timing.
