Operation Stronger Together 5K
The Operation Stronger Together 5K is an annual run and walk event held in Whitehouse, Ohio. Now in its sixth year, the event takes place at 7215 Providence St. The primary focus of the gathering is to raise funds and increase awareness regarding Veteran suicide.
The event features the 5K distance, which is open to both runners and walkers. Participants follow a course situated within the local community to support the cause. The registration fee for the race is set at $25.00, with a pre-defined registration window occurring months prior to the event date.
In addition to the physical race, the venue hosts the Gaven A. Smith Veteran Resource Fair. This fair serves as a central hub for various Veteran-oriented organizations. It features a variety of Veteran nonprofits and Veteran-owned companies. These entities gather to share information about the specific services and resources they offer to the Veteran community. The combination of the athletic event and the resource fair creates a space dedicated to supporting former service members and their families.
