Operation Delta Dog - 5K Run to Rescue
Operation Delta Dog - 5K is a charity run held on September 20, 2026, at Mine Falls in Nashua, New Hampshire. The event raises funds for Operation Delta Dog, which rescues dogs and trains them to be service dogs for veterans at no cost to the veterans. One hundred percent of proceeds are allocated to Operation Delta Dog.
The course is a 5K (3.1 Miles). All race categories allow each runner to bring one dog; registrants who run with a dog receive a finish line goodie bag for the dog. Prizes related to dogs include Fastest Team for the human and dog pair and Best Matching Outfits for human and dog.
Registration opens April 29, 2026. Fees and deadlines include a pre-registration fee of $40 for registrations on or before August 31, a $45 fee beginning September 1, a Veteran rate of $25 with no price change, and a 15 and under flat rate of $30. The first 200 registrants by August 16 will receive a commemorative event t-shirt.
Teams must have at least three members for the team category. Team prizes require at least one female on the team. Awards include top overall male and female, medals for the top three male and female finishers in age groups (Under 14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+), largest team, fastest team (cumulative time for top three), top three overall male and female veterans, fastest dog/human finisher, and best human/dog matching outfits.
