Operation Delta Dog Run to Rescue 5K
This event is a charity run through Mine Falls in Nashua, New Hampshire, held on September 20, 2026. The course is a 5K and proceeds benefit Operation Delta Dog, an organization that rescues dogs and trains them to become service dogs for veterans at no cost to the veterans.
All race categories allow one dog per runner. Registrants who run with a dog receive a finish line goodie bag for the dog. Two dog-focused awards are listed: Fastest Team for the human and dog, and Best Matching Outfits for human and dog. Registration asks whether a runner will bring a dog.
Registration opens April 29, 2026. Pre-registration pricing applies on or before August 31 and is listed at $40. The fee increases to $45 on September 1. Veteran pricing is $25 with no price change. A 15 and under flat rate is $30. Some categories have later registration deadlines; veteran and youth registration remain open through September 19, 2026.
Teams must include at least three people to qualify as a team; team prizes require at least one female on the team. Registrants before August 20 receive a commemorative Operation Delta Dog Run to Rescue t-shirt. Awards include top overall male and female, age group medals, team awards, veteran awards, and dog related awards. Post-race refreshments and an award ceremony are planned. The event will be held rain or shine. One hundred percent of proceeds will go to Operation Delta Dog. Donations may be made through the registration platform.
