OORANG BANG 5K RUN/WALK
The Oorang Bang 5K Run/Walk is a flat 5 kilometer event held in La Rue, Ohio as part of the Oorang Bang Festival. The course and event take place near 350 North High Street, La Rue, OH 43332. The event is organized to raise funds for the LaRue Community Alliance.
Proceeds support additions to the local park, activities and programs for the community, support for LaRue friends and businesses, and preparation for future flood remediation. Entry for the event has a fee of $30. The fee includes a t shirt for the first 50 paid registrants and swag bag pickup is provided.
Age groups for competition are 10-17, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 plus. Male and female winners in each age group receive a prize. Following the run, participants can attend a pancake breakfast at the Fire Department.
