About the race
The Ooievaars Trail is a scenic running event that takes place in the beautiful natural areas south of Tilburg and Goirle. Named after the wetland along the Poppelse Leij stream, the trail features a predominantly flat route that traverses three distinct nature reserves, offering a mix of forests, heathlands, and wetlands. This event caters to both experienced and novice trail runners, providing a unique opportunity to enjoy the local flora and fauna, including storks and various water birds.
