One Love Run - Long Beach
The One Love Run on August 23, 2026 takes place at Alamitos Beach in Long Beach, California. The event program includes four distances:
- 5K - one lap of the 5K route
- 10K - two laps of the 5K route
- 10 Miler - two laps of the 5M route
- Half Marathon - two laps of the 5M route plus one lap of the 5K route
The course is an out-and-back beach path with mixed use; pedestrians are asked to keep to the right and cyclists to the left. Turns are marked with chalk, runner turn signs, and flags. On-course support includes a fully stocked water station at the Belmont Pier and an aid station at the finish line offering water, gatorade, gels, and fruit snacks. First aid kits are available at each station and crew members have received CPR training.
Logistics note that parking in the lot is a paid hourly rate and street parking is free; participants in longer distances may use the Passport parking app as noted by organizers. Early bib pick-up is offered at Sports Basement Long Beach (second floor). Race-day details include bib placement on the front of the shirt for timing, a staffed gear check at the registration tent, and free race photos sent after the event.
