8th Annual One King Sports 5K & Kids Race
The event takes place on May 2, 2026 in Clarksburg, West Virginia, with venue listed as Veteran's Memorial Park and courses on the VA Trail and Harrison County Rail Trail. The program includes a 5K run/walk and a short kids sprint for children aged 8 and under.

The 5K uses an out-and-back course that starts at the Freedom Shelter and runs to a turnaround on the Harrison County Rail Trail; the start and finish are at the same location. The course will be well marked and supported by volunteers.
Awards are provided for the top three overall male and female finishers and age-group awards for first place. Second and third place in each age group receive custom genuine leather patches. Age-group divisions include: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.
The kids race is held near the start/finish area immediately following the 5K; participants receive One King patches and a t-shirt with registration. Listed entry prices include $30 for the 5K and $15 for the kids race, with race-day registration noted at $35. T-shirt deadline and giveaway details are published for registered participants.
