One Epic Run

One Epic Run

One Epic Run is a 24 hour running event held at Croft State Park in Spartanburg, South Carolina on December 5 to December 6, 2026. The course uses the old 5K loop on the south side of the park and consists of self timed laps.

Participants keep lap count by placing a rock in a personal cup for each completed lap. Timing is manual and runners report their totals at the end of the event. The event operates cup less at aid stations, so participants must provide their own hydration vessel. The aid station is organized as a shared food table and participants are asked to bring a dish to contribute.

Packet pickup and bib assignment take place race morning at the check in table near the start and finish. Park admission is charged at the gate and camping is available through Croft State Park reservations. Results are posted as runners finish and awards are distributed after top finishers are determined.

Awards are given by gun time and include top three overall male and female, plus top three male and female in each age group. The event proceeds in typical weather conditions but may be delayed for lightning or other unsafe severe weather. All registrations are final and non refundable. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
