Course Details

The On The Edge Middle Distance Triathlon is held at Park Farm, Compton Verney, in Warwickshire. The event features a single middle-distance course. The disciplines are a 1,900 m two-lap lake swim, a 90 km bike ride on mixed terrain through Warwickshire with approximately 888 m of elevation gain, and a 21.1 km multi-terrain run with approximately 238 m of elevation.

The swim takes place in a historic Capability Brown-designed lake. The bike route includes climbs on the Edge Hill escarpment and is suitable for time trial or road bikes. The run is mostly off-road on firm paths and tracks. GPX files for the bike and run routes are available.

Logistics and Entry

Entry requires British Triathlon membership. Individual entry for the full middle distance is £175, with relay and aquabike options available at different prices. A waitlist is offered if the event sells out. Registration is recommended the night before the event. On-site camping may be available.

There are no changing tents in transition; participants should keep their kit at their racking point. The course will be signed. Cut-off times are enforced for each discipline.
