Omaha Half Marathon : Event summary
The Omaha Half Marathon is held at Rahui Te Kiri Reserve, Omaha. The scheduled event date is Sunday, 29th November 2026 with a rain date of Sunday, 13th December 2026. The venue address is 225 Mangatawhiri Road, Omaha, about 76 km by road from Auckland City.

Course and route notes: the courses use a mix of dune paths, beach running, boardwalk, sealed roads, cycle trail and footpaths, with ocean and estuary views around Omaha and Point Wells. The half marathon is a single lap with beach sections and a boardwalk near the northern end of Omaha Beach. Turn-by-turn descriptions and maps are provided for each distance.
On-course services and rules: aid stations are spaced approximately every 3 to 5 km with water at the first table and electrolyte drink at the second; toilets are located near the venue and at some on-course points; event marshals and directional signage are in place at turns and intersections. A valid race number with timing tag must be worn on the front of the shirt. A self-service Gear Drop and a Key Drop are available at the venue; the organiser operates an all care no responsibility baggage service.
Post-race: all registered finishers receive a finisher medal and a snack at the finish. Results are updated in real time and an awards ceremony with spot prizes totaling up to $5,000 is scheduled on event day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
