Olympiad 5K Run & 1.5 Mile Walk
The Olympiad event takes place June 27, 2026 at The Archway, 3060 East 1st St., Kearney, Nebraska. The event is presented by CHI Health Good Samaritan and Kearney Park and Recreation and is open to participants of all ages.

The main 3.1 mile run is a loop of paved roads and trail west of The Archway. The shorter 1.5 mile option uses a separate paved trail east of The Archway. Two of the listed 5K entries are timed events; one 5K entry is described as professionally chip timed by TimerGuys. Medals are awarded for first, second and third place in each age division. Age divisions are 13 and under, 14 to 17, 18 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, 70 to 79 and 80 plus.
Registration is available online only. The standard entry fee is $20.00 for two events and a community 5K entry is listed with no fee. Registration opens in April 2026 for the listed events and there is a June 18 registration deadline to receive a commemorative T shirt.
