Southwest General 43rd Old Oak Run
The event takes place on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at the Southwest General Main Campus in Middleburg Heights, Ohio. The start and finish are on the southeast side of the campus, and the course uses the Cleveland Metroparks Lake to Lake Trail. Participants are directed to park in the southern parking lot off Old Oak Boulevard.
The event offers two distances:
- 5K (3.1-mile) run - This event is chip-timed.
- 1-mile walk - This is a non-timed event.
Registration fees vary. For the 5K, the price is $25 until April 10, 2026, and $30 from April 11 onward. For the 1-mile walk, the price is $20 until April 10 and $25 from April 11. Online registration closes on the morning of the event. Mailed entries must be received by April 15, 2026.
A long-sleeved T-shirt is provided to the first 300 entrants across both events. Free refreshments are available after the race. Awards are given for the 5K only, to the top overall man and woman and the top three in numerous age categories. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
