OktoberFeast 5K Fun Run & Walk
OktoberFeast is a charity 5K event in Richland that raises funds for Mid-Columbia Meals on Wheels. The event features an in-person 5K run and walk along the Columbia River at 2600 North Columbia Center Boulevard, with a virtual 5K option for remote participants.
Participants receive an automatic fundraising page when they register; fundraising is flexible and has no minimum requirement. Funds raised stay in the local community to support nutritious meals and connection for local seniors.
The event welcomes runners, walkers, stroller and wheelchair users, children, teams, and dogs. Costumes are encouraged. Race options include a timed race with prizes. Community awards and contests include a Top Fundraiser Award, Largest Team Prize, and a costume contest for people and pets.
A free community after-party is held at the Mid-Columbia Meals on Wheels campus near the race end. Post-race activities include food and refreshments, live music, a beer garden, family activities, a Kid Zone, and a Dog Zone.
Registration is available online until the night before the event, with day-of registration on site. Register by September 9 to guarantee an event t-shirt. A virtual racing option is available with a separate registration fee. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
