Oklahoma Fallen Heroes
The Oklahoma Fallen Heroes event is the 17th annual running event in Oklahoma City held in recognition and remembrance of the nineteen brothers and one sister who made the ultimate sacrifice since September 11, 2001. The event features multiple distances on the OKC River Trail to accommodate a larger participant population.

- 5K Run/Walk
Individual recognition begins at the starting line, continues at each mile marker along the 13.1 mile course, and concludes at the finish line. A banner will be placed at each of the 15 recognition points; each banner includes a photo and a brief biographical note about the honored warrior.
Registration opens February 28, 2027 and closes September 18, 2027. Registration fees are $70 for the Half Marathon, $60 for the 10K, and $50 for the 5K Run/Walk. This is not a sanctioned race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
