Ohio River Sternwheel Festival 5K Run and Walk
The Ohio River Sternwheel Festival 5K takes place in Marietta, Ohio on May 23, 2026. The event is centered at the East Muskingum Park Gazebo on Front Street and includes both a 5K run and a 5K walk.

The course passes over and under bridges, through tunnels, and around downtown Marietta before finishing along the paved river trail in Muskingum Park. The event is capped at 500 participants. Registration fees are listed at $16.00 for pre-registration and $25.00 for race day registration. Participants who register by April 20 are guaranteed a t-shirt.
Awards are presented to the first three males and first three females overall, the top three male and top three female walkers, and the top three males and females in each age group in the Run and Walk divisions: 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. Awards are distributed as results are tallied and there will not be a formal awards ceremony.
Kids' races for age 11 and under are free and do not require pre-registration; entry is handled on race day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
