Ogden Winter Running Series
The Ogden Winter Running Series is a four event training series produced by the GOAL Foundation and designated as the official training series of the Ogden Marathon. The series is intended to help prepare participants for distances in the Ogden Marathon or other spring running events. The series is supported by race specific training plans created by Fleet Feet and offers a 20 week training plan as a separate registration option.
Events in 2026 take place on February 14, February 28, March 14, and April 4 at local Ogden start locations including 4300 S Airport Rd, Dee Events Center, Roosters B Street, and Eden Park.
Distances offered in the series:
- 5K (3.1 mile) short course around 2 miles
- 10K (6.2 mile) short course 4 mile
- 10 Mile short course 4.5 mile
- 13.1 Mile half marathon short course 10 mile
The series package includes professional timing, aid stations, finish line treats, a unisex long sleeve participant shirt for series registrants, finisher medals at each event, and an additional fifth medal for completing all four events. Bibs are reused across races and a replacement fee applies for lost bibs. Packet pickup is scheduled the day before the first event at Fleet Feet Ogden. Dogs and pets are not allowed at the races, packet pickup, start lines, or on course.
Awards for the full series are given to top three male, female, and non binary finishers in overall and masters categories based on cumulative placement points. Short courses and virtual submissions are not eligible for awards. There is no strict cutoff time for completing events. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
