2025 OdySea Aquari-Run: An Ink-Credible Dash for Conservation 5K
The 5th annual OdySea Aquari-Run is a themed fundraising event held at the Arizona Boardwalk in Scottsdale. The event supports the OdySea Aquarium Foundation, a non-profit organization focused on education and planet conservation. This edition features an octopus theme, celebrating the adaptability and curiosity of the species. Participants are encouraged to wear octopus-themed attire for a costume contest where winners can receive aquarium tickets or animal artwork.
The event offers several participation options:
- 5K - A chip-timed run or walk for adults and kids with results tracked via mobile app.
- Kiddie Kraken Dash - An untimed distance specifically for young participants.
- Virtual Run - A flexible option for those in the United States to participate from any location.
The course is located at the Arizona Boardwalk and is accessible for wheelchairs, strollers, and wagons. Leashed pets are also permitted on the course. Participants in the 5K compete for age group awards, which are presented to the top three finishers in categories ranging from 8 and under to 80 and over.
All participants receive a custom finisher's medal and a dri-fit shirt. On the day of the event, finishers can present their medal at the OdySea Aquarium ticket booth for a discount on admission.
