Event overview
The OdySea "Aquari-RUN" 5K is a fundraising run and family event at Arizona Boardwalk, 9500 E Via de Ventura, Scottsdale, AZ. The event supports the OdySea Aquarium Foundation. It has an octopus theme and includes a costume contest. The event includes chip timing with real-time results and event photos. Finishers receive a custom finisher's medal and a custom dri-fit shirt (a no-shirt option reduces the fee by $5). Showing the 2026 finisher's medal at the OdySea Aquarium ticket booth reduces same-day admission by $5. The event is rain or shine; there are no refunds or transfers for weather.

Male and female age-group awards are given to the top three in each age group for the 5K (race day participants only). Age groups start at 8 & under and continue in standard ranges up to 80 & over.
Registration, packet pickup and rules
Mail-in registration is accepted by mail until April 13, 2026. Packet pickup is available the day before at Arizona Boardwalk and on race day at the event site. Race day registration is available at the venue. Wheelchairs, strollers and wagons are welcome. Roller blades, skateboards and motorized devices are not allowed. Leashed pets are permitted.
