Odd Sock Fun Run 5K 2026
The Odd Sock Fun Run is a 5 km event held in Blackwater, Enniscorthy, County Wexford. Participants can choose to complete the course as a run or a walk. The event is untimed and emphasizes community support and mental health awareness. All proceeds from the event benefit Aware, a charity that provides support services for individuals impacted by depression and bipolar disorder.
The event starts and finishes at the car park of Corrigan’s Pub in Blackwater. The route is open to both individuals and those with buggies or dogs. While the run is a non-competitive fun run, prizes are awarded to the first male finisher, the first female finisher, and the participant wearing the most flamboyant socks.
Registration for the event is open to adults and minors, though minors must be accompanied by an adult. Participants receive water and light refreshments as part of their entry. Ample parking is available in Blackwater village, specifically behind the Spar shop and at the church car park. There is no parking permitted within the Corrigan’s Pub car park itself.
