OCNJ Half Marathon

Event overview

The OCNJ Half Marathon, 10-Miler and 5K is scheduled for October 4, 2026 in Ocean City, New Jersey. The courses run along the boardwalk and through downtown with ocean views and feature a flat route. Start and finish are at the Ocean City Music Pier (Moorlyn Terrace and Boardwalk). Course maps are available for each distance.

Registration and fees

Registration opens February 1, 2025. Entry fees vary by date:

• Half Marathon: $70 (Feb 1–July 15), $80 (July 16–Sept 27), $90 (Sept 28–30 online), $100 (Oct 2–3 in-person at pre-packet pickup). No race-day registration.
• 10-Miler: $50 (Feb 1–July 15), $60 (July 16–Sept 27), $70 (Sept 28–30 online), $75 (Oct 2–3 in-person at pre-packet pickup). No race-day registration.
• 5K: $30 (Feb 1–July 15), $35 (July 16–Sept 27), $40 (Sept 28–30 online and Oct 2–3 in-person). There is a race-day 5K entry fee of $40.

Packet pickup is at Ocean City Music Pier on Oct 2 and Oct 3, with race day pickup also at the Music Pier. Entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. All proceeds benefit Ocean City Recreation Scholarships and Programs.

Awards and timing

The Half Marathon awards overall top three male, female and non-binary finishers with cash prizes ($250, $150, $100). Half marathon age-group awards and 5K age-group awards are given for specified age ranges; age-group results are based on chip time. Overall awards are based on gun time.
