About the race
The Oceanic Khorfakkan Triathlon Race 2 is part of the Oceanic Multisport Series held in Khorfakkan during the 2026/2027 season. The event features open-water swimming in the calm waters of the Arabian Sea and Indian Ocean, a bike course through the city on roads managed by Sharjah Police, and a run along the Khorfakkan Corniche jogging track. The route is described as smooth and fast, located about a 90 minute drive from Dubai.
Race distances offered:
- Olympic: 1500 m swim, 40 km bike, 10 km run
- Sprint: 750 m swim, 24.6 km bike, 5 km run
- Super Sprint: 375 m swim, 16.4 km bike, 2.5 km run
- Junior: 150 m swim, 8 km bike, 1.5 km run
Mixed relay teams of two or three athletes are permitted. A race village will provide sporting goods, bike mechanics, coffee and refreshments, and other on-site services. Entry benefits include a certificate, medal, photo service or download, refreshments, timing, breakfast for all participants, a T shirt, and a swim cap. Registration, category changes, and cancellations have specified deadlines relative to the event date. Exclusive Oceanic Hotel weekend rates are available for registered participants and partners, and breakfast vouchers for athletes are included with entry.
