Event Overview
The OCBA Law Day 5K is the 12th annual run/walk hosted by the Orange County Bar Association. It takes place on Saturday, March 7, 2026. The event supports free civil legal aid programs through the Legal Aid Society of the Orange County Bar Association and the Orange County Bar Association Foundation. The race attracts participants from the local and Central Florida legal community.
Event Details
The main event is a 5K run/walk. Two other activities are listed: a Kids Free Fun Run for ages 12 and under, and an "OCBA Law Day 5K Block Party ONLY" entry.
The scenic course runs around Lake Baldwin Park. The event location is given as 4990 New Broad Street in Orlando, Florida. Packet pickup is scheduled for two days prior at the Orange County Bar Association office on 880 North Orange Avenue, Orlando.
Registration and Amenities
Race registration fees are tiered:
- $30.00 until December 10.
- $35.00 from December 11 to January 10.
- $40.00 from January 11 to February 7.
- $45.00 after February 7, including on race day.
All entry fees are listed as non-refundable and non-transferable. The event proceeds in all weather conditions. Race day registration accepts cash, checks payable to "OCBA", and credit cards.
Included amenities are chip timing, awards for top overall male and female finishers, custom shirts, food and refreshments, and finisher medals. The first 500 finishers are guaranteed a special commemorative medal.
The free Kids Run takes place after the main 5K. Children aged 2-13 can register for free and access event inflatables with an adult registration. To receive the commemorative shirt, finisher medal, or age-specific awards, children must be registered for the timed 5K race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
