Oakridge Run 2026
Oakridge Run is a community-focused running event hosted by the Oakridge Community Association at Oakridge Community Centre, 9504 Oakfield Dr SW, Calgary, Alberta, T2V 0L1, Canada. Entering its fourth annual year, the event brings together runners, walkers, families and neighbours to use and celebrate local outdoor space.
Distances offered:
- 21.1K Half Marathon connecting Oakridge pathways with sections of the Rotary/Mattamy Greenway
- 10K mostly flat, fast community course
- 5K approachable distance for runners and walkers
- 3K relaxed community run or walk
- Budget Blinds Kids 1K free for participants under 12; registration required
The half marathon route links local pathways with parts of Calgary's Rotary/Mattamy Greenway. The event is organized entirely by volunteers and includes a post-run celebration with music and activities. Proceeds and activity from the event support local greenspace revitalization.
Pricing increases monthly from March to June: Adult fees range from $20 to $50, Youth (15 and under) from $10 to $30, and Half Marathon fees from $50 to $80. Local sponsors are acknowledged for their support. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
