NZ Ultramarathon Festival : event overview
The NZ Ultramarathon Festival is a multi-day timed running event held in Hagley Park, Christchurch, New Zealand. Athletes run or walk repeated loops on a concrete route that measures 1.9464 km per lap with 0 m elevation change. The course passes mature shaded woodlands, two lakes and the Avon River and returns to a central service area called The Hub after each lap.

The festival is fully catered for all event hours; all entries include meals, snacks and drinks with vegan and gluten free options. Additional services and options are available at registration, including crew meals for multi-day events, tent hire and stretcher hire for multi-day athletes, and optional entry protection insurance.
On-site support includes 24/7 crew support for competitors, first aid, and massage services available to book and pay for directly. All finishers receive a medal and individual event winners receive trophies. There are no qualification requirements to enter; participants are expected to have an adequate level of fitness and appropriate training for their chosen event.
