NYRR Team Championships 5M
NYRR Team Championships 5M is a five-mile team race in Central Park held on July 26, 2026. The event is based at the North Meadow Softball Field 8 on East Drive in Manhattan and focuses on organized running teams.
Registration is limited to active NYRR-recognized club teams, with general public registration opening July 7. A Member-Only Standby List is available for active NYRR members who may be invited to register if entries open after initial registration closes.
This championship awards double points in the 2026 NYRR Club Points Series for men’s, women’s, and nonbinary points races. All team categories are scored by net time. For team scoring, the Open divisions score 10 men, 10 women, and 3 nonbinary runners; the 40+ divisions score 5 men and 5 women; and the 50+, 60+, and 70+ divisions score 3 men and 3 women each.
All registrants receive a New Balance shoe bag. Race numbers including timing tags may be picked up at the NYRR RUNCENTER. Bib pickup closes shortly after the race begins and late pickup will not receive a bib or 9+1 credit. Checked bags must be clear and no larger than 17 inches wide by 20 inches high by 7 inches deep; NYRR is not responsible for lost or damaged items.
If officials cancel the event at the direction of local, city, or state authorities, the event will not be rescheduled. Entry fees are non-refundable and may not be deferred or transferred. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
