NYRR Team Championships 5M
NYRR Team Championships is a club-focused five mile race in Central Park on July 26, 2026. The event is held at North Meadow Softball Field 8 on East Drive in Manhattan and is scored as part of the 2026 NYRR Club Points Series. The race awards double club points in 2026 and is a scored event that also counts toward the 9+1 program.
Entry is limited to active club teams for purposes of team scoring. Team scoring is by net time. In the open divisions, 10 men, 10 women, and 3 nonbinary runners score for a team; masters categories score with smaller team sizes. To be eligible to score for a team, an entrant must be a member of an established NYRR-recognized running team and must have completed at least one NYRR scored or qualifying race for that team since the prior year Team Championships. A runner may not compete for a team until at least 90 days after competing for another team.
All registrants receive a New Balance shoe bag. Bibs and timing tags may be picked up at the NYRR RUNCENTER at 320 West 57th Street. Bib pickup closes 10 minutes after the race start. Bag check accepts only clear bags no larger than 17" wide x 20" high x 7" deep. Live unofficial tracking is available in the NYRR App and official results are posted on results.nyrr.org.
