NYRR Summer Speed Series #2
This is a scored track and field meet held at Icahn Stadium on Randall’s Island. Competition takes place on a 400-meter Mondo track and includes a lineup of sprint, middle-distance, relay, and field events. Event spots are limited and entry fees range from $0.00 to $21.15.
The meet is part of the 2026 NYRR Summer Speed Series and is scheduled for August 11, 2026. A separate invitational championships event will feature top finishers from the series; qualification requires finishing among the top athletes in at least one event during the series. Rising NYRR offers a free, required-registration option for youth ages 12 to 18 to participate on race day.
Pre-race resources include in-person group training, virtual coaching options, and free training guides. Accessibility accommodations and guide or support runner requests are handled through NYRR procedures. There is no bag check and NYRR is not responsible for unattended bags.
