NYRR Summer Speed Series #2 at Icahn Stadium, Randall’s Island
This is a scored track and field meet held at Icahn Stadium on Randall’s Island as part of the 2026 NYRR Summer Speed Series. The facility has a state-of-the-art 400-meter Mondo track. Event spots are limited.
Events scheduled include the 1500 meters, 400 meters, 100 meters, long jump, shot put, and a distance medley relay. Entry fees for the meet range from $0.00 to $21.15. Kids ages 12 to 18 may register for the Rising NYRR Summer Speed Series race day activities at no cost; registration is required.
The series includes multiple meets and a separate invitational championships event. Qualification for the championships requires finishing among the top athletes in at least one event during the series; the number of qualifying places may vary by event and date. Invited participants to the championships receive a special welcome package.
NYRR states that it strives to host inclusive and accessible events. Requests for guide or support runners and other reasonable accommodations should be made by the registered athlete at least two weeks before the meet. There is no bag check; NYRR is not responsible for unattended bags. Entry fees are non-refundable and events will not be rescheduled if canceled by authorities.
