NYRR Start Line Series - Manhattan
The NYRR Start Line Series is a free community run presented in partnership with NYC DOT Summer Streets. The Manhattan edition is a professionally produced, scored community event that offers timing and a race-day atmosphere at no cost.
The course covers a 5K distance along Park Avenue. It begins near East 80th Street, heads north past East 100th Street, turns on Tito Puente Way for a U-turn, and returns south on Park Avenue. The only fluid station on course is located on Park Avenue between East 109th and East 108th Streets. The route passes Mile 1 and Mile 2 markers and finishes back near East 80th Street. Bag check is located on Park Avenue between East 77th Street and East 78th Street.
Children ages 8 and older may participate; guardians are encouraged to consider each child’s comfort and ability when assessing participation. Finisher souvenirs are available while supplies last. Bib and race premium pickup is available at designated locations including the New Balance Run Hub at 322 West 57th Street and at Westfield World Trade Center at 185 Greenwich Street.
