Citizens Queens 10K - Flushing Meadows
The Citizens Queens 10K is a 10K road race held in Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens, New York, on Saturday, June 20, 2026. The event is the fourth race in the NYRR Five Borough Series and is sponsored by Citizens for the third consecutive year.
The park course highlights historic pathways and scenic trails and includes post-race festivities and food offerings. A free Flushing Meadows Kids Run for ages 2 to 18 is offered on race day; registration for that program is required and provided at no cost.
This race serves as a 9+1 qualifier for the 2027 TCS New York City Marathon and as a 4 Out of 6 qualifier for the 2027 United Airlines NYC Half. Registration for the Citizens Queens 10K is listed as sold out and the member-only standby list is full.
Prize money is equal across men, women, and nonbinary categories. Individual prize amounts are $800 for first, $600 for second, $300 for third, $200 for fourth, and $100 for fifth. The top Queens finisher in the NYRR Member Division receives $500. To be eligible for prize money and time bonuses, a runner must have held a valid paid NYRR membership since at least March 13, 2026 and must complete the course in 42 minutes or faster.
Race logistics include race number pickup at the NYRR RUNCENTER at 320 West 57th Street and at the Citizens Woodside Branch on Wednesday June 17 and Thursday June 18 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Clear bag check is available; recommended bag size is up to 17" wide x 20" high x 7" deep. Live unofficial tracking is available in the NYRR App and official results will be posted on results.nyrr.org. Awards are presented on site to the top three overall finishers in men, women, and nonbinary divisions, with age group awards claimable after the event.
