Citizens Queens 10K - Flushing Meadows
The Citizens Queens 10K is a road race scheduled for Saturday, June 20, 2026, in Flushing Meadows Corona Park, Queens, NY. The course starts and finishes near the Fountain of the Planets and covers 10K through park roads and promenades, passing landmarks such as the Unisphere, the Queens Museum, the Hall of Science, and several bridges and promenades.
The event is part of the NYRR Five Borough Series and serves as a qualifier for the 2027 TCS New York City Marathon (9+1 program) and the 2027 United Airlines NYC Half (4 Out of 6 program). The race uses wave starts and is a scored event with club points, finisher medals, and prize money awarded to the top finishers in the overall men, women, and nonbinary divisions. Prize money is equal across divisions; individual awards include amounts for the top five finishers and a Top Queens Finisher award for eligible NYRR members.
Race numbers include timing tags and are available for pickup at the NYRR RUNCENTER, select Citizens and New Balance pickup locations, or on race day. Number pickup includes a New Balance singlet. Bag check accepts only clear bags no larger than 17" x 20" x 7". Race-day amenities listed include water, Gatorade, a Maurten bar, pretzels, and a recovery bag.
