NYRR Jersey City 5K
The NYRR Jersey City 5K is a scored road race held in Jersey City on October 4, 2026. The event uses a fast, flat course that runs through downtown city streets and offers waterfront views. The race distance is 5K and all participants receive a New Balance long-sleeve tech t-shirt.
Numbers that include timing tags may be picked up at the NYRR RUNCENTER featuring the New Balance Run Hub at 320 West 57th Street. Bag check uses only clear bags no larger than 17 inches wide by 20 inches high by 7 inches deep; NYRR is not responsible for lost or damaged items checked at bag check.
The event is a qualifier for NYRR’s 9+1 program and is eligible for 9+1 credit where noted. Live unofficial results and runner tracking will be available in the NYRR App during the event, and official results will be posted afterward. Awards are presented on site to the top three overall finishers in the men, women, and nonbinary divisions; age-group award claim procedures are handled after the race.
NYRR offers accessibility accommodations and a process for requesting guide or support runners; requests must be submitted at least two weeks before the event. Registration fee protection through Teak is available. Entry fees are nonrefundable and events will not be rescheduled if canceled by authorities.
