NYRR Jersey City 5K
The NYRR Jersey City 5K is a scored road race held on October 4, 2026, in downtown Jersey City. The course is described as fast and flat and runs through city streets with waterfront views, located just across the river from Manhattan. The event distance is 5K and all participants receive a New Balance long-sleeve tech t-shirt.
Race services include race number pickup at the NYRR RUNCENTER featuring the New Balance Run Hub (320 West 57th Street) and a bag check that accepts only clear bags no larger than 17" wide x 20" high x 7" deep. Reusable hydration cups will be used at the event and participants are asked to return them to designated receptacles in the post-finish area. Live unofficial runner tracking is available in the NYRR app during the event and official results are posted online after the race.
The event is part of NYRR programming, is a 9+1 program qualifier, and offers a Member-Only Standby List for NYRR members if entries become available after registration closes. Entry fees are non-refundable and events will not be rescheduled if canceled at the direction of local authorities.
