NYRR Jersey City 5K
The NYRR Jersey City 5K takes place in Jersey City on October 4, 2026. The event is a scored 5K on a described fast and flat course through downtown Jersey City that includes waterfront views. The race is part of NYRR programming and qualifies for the NYRR 9+1 credit.
All participants receive a New Balance short-sleeve tech T-shirt. Official results are posted after the event and live, unofficial tracking will be available in the NYRR app during the race. Awards are presented on site to the top three overall finishers in the men, women, and nonbinary divisions; age-group award claims are handled after the race.
Race number pickup is available at the NYRR RUNCENTER featuring the New Balance Run Hub at 320 West 57th Street in Manhattan; numbers include timing tags. Bag check will accept only clear bags no larger than 17" wide x 20" high x 7" deep, and NYRR is not responsible for lost or damaged items from checked bags.
NYRR offers accessibility accommodations and a Member-Only Standby List for members who may be invited to register after regular registration closes.
