NYCRUNS Endless Summer 10K
The event is a 10 km road race held on Governors Island that follows a two-loop course with views of New York Harbor and Lady Liberty. The course is USATF-certified. Race entry includes round-trip ferry rides to the island for runners and guests, an official race tech shirt, and post-race food.
A Festival Area near the ferry terminal houses bib and shirt pickup, bag check, portable bathrooms, and post-race refreshments. Water and electrolyte fluids are available on course and at the finish. Post-race food includes fresh fruit and a bagel with schmear. Photos are delivered by email a few days after the race; participants may download one photo for free.
Bibs are available for pick up on race morning at the Festival Area and require a unique QR code. NYCRUNS members may have bibs mailed at no extra cost; non-members can add mailed bib service for an additional fee. Mailed bibs require registration at least 20 days before the event and a U.S. mailing address. Race shirts are available for pickup on race day only and sizes are not guaranteed.
Awards are given to the top three male, female, and non-binary finishers overall by gun time. Age-group awards by net/chip time are offered for standard ranges from 9 and under through 70 and over. Due to many turns, handcycle and wheelchair athletes are not advised to enter. The event follows standard race policies on refunds, transfers, and course time limits. Strollers and dogs are not allowed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
