NYCRUNS Endless Summer 10K
The event is a 10K held on Governors Island that follows a two-loop course with views of New York Harbor and Lady Liberty. The course is USATF-certified. Ferry rides to and from the island are included for runners and guests on race morning.
A Festival Area near the ferry terminal serves as the hub for bib and shirt pickup, bag check, portable bathrooms, pre-race gathering, and post-race refreshments. Water and electrolyte fluids are available on course and at the finish. Post-race food includes fresh fruit and a bagel with schmear.
Start corrals are pace based and assigned by letter (AA through F) using the pace listed in each runner’s NYCRUNS Dashboard. Bag check requires a single clear bag (18 x 24); nested full bags are not permitted and items may be searched. Race photos are delivered by email after the event; one photo may be downloaded for free.
Bibs can be picked up in the Festival Area on race morning using a unique QR code. NYCRUNS members may have bibs mailed at no cost if registered 20 or more days before the event and to a U.S. address; non-members can add mailing for an additional fee. Shirts are available for race-day pickup only and sizes are not guaranteed.
Results will be emailed and posted online. Awards are given to the top three male, female, and non-binary finishers overall by gun time, and to top three in each listed age group by net time. Handcycle and wheelchair athletes are advised against this course due to its many turns. Standard policies apply: no refunds, no transfers; members have race credit options. Strollers and dogs are not allowed and certain equipment or actions may lead to disqualification. Time limits apply and runners must remain on pace to receive course support and an official time.
