NYCRUNS Endless Summer 10K
The event is a USATF‑certified 10K run on Governors Island that follows a two-loop course with views of New York Harbor and the Statue of Liberty. Ferry rides to and from the island for participants and guests are included with race entry. A nearby Festival Area serves as the arrival hub where participants pick up bibs and shirts, check a single clear bag, use portable bathrooms, and find post‑race refreshments.
Start corrals are assigned by pace and marked by letters AA through F; corral assignment appears on the bib and can be updated in the runner dashboard. Bag check requires one clear bag (18 x 24 inches); staff may inspect bag contents. Participant shirts are available for race day pickup only and sizes are not guaranteed.
Photos from the race include one free download per participant and discounted photo packages can be purchased during registration. Bibs are available for pickup on race morning using a unique QR code; members may opt to have a bib mailed at no cost while non‑members can add mailing for an additional fee. Mailed bibs require registration at least 20 days before the event and a U.S. mailing address. Shirts are not mailed.
Awards are given to the top three male, female, and nonbinary finishers overall by gun time, with age group awards by net time for standard age brackets. Handcycle and wheelchair athletes are not advised because the course has many turns. Standard no‑refund, no‑transfer policies apply; members have withdrawal options for race credit.
