NYCRUNS Endless Summer 10K
NYCRUNS Endless Summer 10K takes place on Governors Island in New York City on August 29, 2026. The event is a USATF certified two-loop 10K course that runs around the island and offers views of New York Harbor and the Statue of Liberty.
The Festival Area near the ferry terminal serves as bib and shirt pickup, bag check, and the post-race refreshment spot. Race entries include ferry rides to and from the island for runners and guests, an official race tech shirt, and post-race snacks. Portable bathrooms will be available and water and electrolyte fluids will be provided on course and at the finish. Photographs are taken at the event; a free photo download is included and discounted photo packages may be purchased during registration.
Start corrals are pace based and labeled AA through F, with assignments set from the runner profile pace. Bag check requires a single clear bag; event staff may inspect bag contents. Bib mailing is available for NYCRUNS members at no cost or for non-members for an extra fee when requested at least 20 days before the event and sent to U.S. addresses. Results will be emailed and posted online.
Awards are presented to the top three overall male, female, and non-binary finishers and to the top three in each age group by net/chip time. Policies include no refunds or transfers, time limits on course support and official timing, and prohibitions on strollers and dogs. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
